These recommendations represent a wide range of students in terms of age, gender, and family background.

The Selection Committee expressed positive feelings about their participation in the selection process and we were faced with many challenges to pare down the recipients to seventy. The young people were truly remarkable and they would have liked to give them all a scholarship. The committee wished to thank the board for giving them the opportunity to work on such a worthy project and to commend you for your commitment and vision.

Please contact me if you have any question or concerns regarding the recommendations. If I do not hear from you by June 9, 2008, I will assume you are in agreement with the recommendations and the recipients will be notified.
